Andrew Frugé

ANDREW FRUGÈ is the percussion director at James E. Taylor High School in Katy, Texas. In his spare time he enjoys hiking and camping with his wife and their dog.

Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston where he studied with Mr. Alec Warren, Dr. Blake Wilkins, and Dr. Craig Hauschildt. During his time at the Moores School of Music, Andrew performed in various wind, string, and percussion ensembles

In addition to his time in school Andrew has performed with many independent ensembles such as The Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps, The Colts Drum and Bugle Corps, and Monarch Independent. Andrew is also a proud endorser of Salyers Percussion products.
