River City Rhythm Launches A Class Drumline

Champlin, MN – September 26, 2025

River City Rhythm is thrilled to announce the formation of an Independent A Class drumline for the 2026 season. Under the direction of Jacob Sayler, a multi-season RCR alum, this ensemble will serve as a developmental tool for younger, less experienced performers to build skills and learn about competition and performance within a lower pressure environment. Members will learn from and perform a show written by RCR staff and designers!

The A line will rehearse on Sundays, 10-6 at Champlin Park High School, and will perform in the MPA competition circuit. While we will accept members from any school or area, up to the age of 22 as competition rules allow, we expect the majority of the members of this group to be of high school age.

Be sure to register today for joint drumline auditions October 25th and 26th at Champlin Park High School!
