2026 Drum Corps Creative Team Announcement
Anoka, MN – September 22, 2025
River City Rhythm Drum & Bugle Corps is proud to announce the creative team for their 2026 production.
Longtime corps staff member and director of RCR Winds John Meissner will be the corps' creative director tasked with leading the team below. John is a friendly face around both Minnesota and RCR. "After great success in leading the inaugural season of RCR Winds bringing home the WIO Silver medal, I have no doubt John and his team will craft an exciting package for the corps in 2026" said Corps Director Jordon Pinchback.
Joining the corps as brass arranger is RCR Winds arranger Jeremy Thompson. Jeremy is a full time wind composer, arranger, and electronic sound designer for the marching arts. He has been active in the pageantry activity for over 15 years. Jeremy was a marching member of the 2003 Blue Devils hornline. Since 2003 he has been active as a visual instructor, choreographer, clinician and adjudicator.
After a successful 2025 drum corps season, we are thrilled to welcome back Pat Miller as the corps' visual designer. In this position, his excellence will continue for the corps' 11th competitive season. Pat Miller is a full-time visual designer who has been involved in the world of pageantry arts for over 35 years. Originally starting his career as a performer with the Garfield Cadets, Pat has been involved with several DCI, WGI, and BOA programs. He has worked with The Cadets, Glassmen, Blue Knights, Phantom Regiment, Troopers, and the Louisiana Stars prior to working with River City Rhythm.
Joining the visual side of design is Rebekah Salas. Rebekah will be the corps' scenic designer tasked with designing the costume, flag silks, performer aesthetics, and the colors present on the field.
After a successful 2025 winter season with RCR’s Indoor Drumline, Frankie Rice is joining the corps creative team as front ensemble arranger and soundscape designer. Frankie currently works with Etiwanda High School, Pulse Percussion, is an Operations Assistant at Box Six, and is a member of the Vic Firth & Zildjian Educational Team. Frankie was also the Front Ensemble Composer/Arranger & Sound Designer for Gold Drum & Bugle Corps for 2023 & 2024.
In battery percussion, the corps welcomes Eric Shriver from the RCR Indoor Drumline. Eric is a Percussion Educator and Designer based in Southern California. He performed with the Bluecoats, Pulse Percussion, Black Knights, Pacific Crest, and RCC Marching Band. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Industry Studies) from California Polytechnic University (Pomona, CA). Currently, he serves as the Percussion Director and Battery Designer at a number of local high schools, including Etiwanda, Rancho Cucamonga, and South Torrance — as well as the Ensemble Coordinator and Battery Arranger for POW Percussion.
