Jack Donovan
JACK DONOVAN is an educator, arranger, and percussion instructor based in Minneapolis with experience across marching arts, public education, and higher education. He marched bass drum with the Madison Scouts from 2012–2013 and has remained active in the drum corps activity as an educator and designer.
Before joining the River City Rhythm team, Jack was the Percussion Caption Head and Front Ensemble Arranger for the Colt Cadets from 2023–2024. He also currently serves as Front Ensemble Coordinator and Arranger for Grove Area Percussion (2018–present) and Percussion Caption Head and Percussion Arranger for River Falls High School (2018–present). In addition to his work in the marching arts, he has taught at both Winona State University (2020–2023) and Gustavus Adolphus College (2022–2023).
Jack earned his Bachelor of Music degree from University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire in 2015 and his Master of Music degree from Kansas State University in 2017.
