Lydia Wipf

LYDIA WIPF is an aspiring music educator currently finishing her Bachelor of Music Education at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. While at Eau Claire, Lydia aimed to gain as many diverse educational experiences as possible, which led to serving as President of Fifth Element A Cappella, participating in the voice studio, trombone studio, trombone choir, and jazz. As a budding jazz arranger, Lydia has had big band charts performed by Eau Claire Jazz I, II, III, and Confluence Big Band.

Outside of her role as a student, Lydia has worked with the Eastview High School Marching Band as well as Eastview High School’s Speech Team, serving as both a coach and judge. As a performer and solo arranger, Lydia has also performed as the frontwoman of the Eau Claire–based jazz fusion collective Dang!

Outside of music, Lydia enjoys writing poetry, watching horror movies, and finding new restaurants to share with friends and family.
