Elise Borman

ELISE BORMAN has been passionate about music since the first moment she was able to sing, thanks to her dad’s love of playing the guitar and piano. Elise has spent many dedicated hours on their craft since a young age, including piano lessons, voice lessons, percussion lessons, songwriting, and actively participating in school bands throughout high school and college. Many of these hours were spent at Indoor Drumline and Drum Corps, where Elise developed into the musician and instructor they are today.

After three years performing with their high school indoor drumline (2014-2016), Elise spent three seasons with River City Rhythm Drum & Bugle Corps (2016-2018), two seasons with River City Rhythm Indoor Drumline (2017-2018), and completed her marching career with Matrix Performing Arts in the World Class Ensemble in 2019. Elise has taught at many Minnesota high school marching band and drumline programs over the years and has been on staff with the River City Rhythm Drumline and Drum Corps for a cumulative four seasons. Elise completed a Music Minor at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities from 2016-2018 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Arizona State University Online in May 2022.

Elise currently lives in Minneapolis, MN, and is grateful to be able to be part of shaping the next generation of marching musicians and instructors in Minnesota.
