Tommy Micholic

THOMAS MICHOLIC has been involved in the marching arts community as a performer and educator for the past decade. He is a graduate of Eastview High School, where he played snare drum in the marching band. After high school, Thomas played snare drum with the University of Iowa Hawkeye Marching Band, the RCR Indoor Drumline for 3 seasons (‘14, ’16, ’17) and 1 season with Minnesota Brass Indoor (‘18). He was a charter member of the the River City Rhythm Drum and Bugle Corps in 2015, and performed with the Corps for three years before aging out in 2017.

Thomas has instructional experience as snare tech/batterie tech at Andover High School, snare tech/batterie coordinator/visual designer at Saint Francis High School, and has been on staff at RCR since the 2019 indoor season.

Thomas is a graduate of Metropolitan State University, where he obtained a B.S. in Business Administration. Hobbies outside of drumline include camping, golfing, and listening to Twins Baseball on the radio. He’s excited to return for another exciting season!
