Medical Program gets New Leadership

Anoka, MN – April 30, 2025

River City Rhythm Drum & Bugle Corps is proud to announce Dr. Joshua Tessier as the 2025 Medical Program Director. Drum Corps Director Jordon Pinchback made the announcement earlier this morning.

Joshua Tessier, D.O. is a graduate of Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his family medicine residency at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Tessier is faculty physician at UnityPoint Health Systems – Iowa Lutheran Hospital Family Medicine Residency in Des Moines. He is a Regional Assistant Dean and Adjunct Clinical Faculty for Des Moines University and an Adjunct Clinical Faculty for the University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine.

Dr. Tessier has a BS and MS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences and worked as a medical technologist for three years prior to attending Des Moines University-College of Osteopathic Medicine. This continues to be a special interest area for him at the residency program.

In addition to being our Medical Program Director, Dr. Tessier is also the Team Physician for both the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps and the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps.
