Brett McLellan
BRETT MCLELLAN is a percussionist originally from Green Bay, WI who went to college at UW-Eau Claire for Music Education. Currently, he lives in Minnesota and works with the City of Chanhassen Utility Department as a water treatment plant operator and utility locator.
He has previously had the privilege of performing with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corp and Music City Mystique. Since then, he has taught with RCR Drum Bugle Corps and RCR Indoor Drumline as frontline coordinator. He has also taught with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps as a frontline tech. After taking a brief hiatus to purchase a home (crazy in this economy) he made his return to RCR indoor drumline as a frontline instructor for the 2025 season. Brett’s specialty is helping out auxiliary percussion and electronics players (synths).
In his off time, Brett McLellan is a Zamboni Driver and Maintenance Technician at Chaska Community Center, where he spends his nights driving, fixing, and repairing Zamboni machines. He also spends his time woodworking/crafting/3D Printing and building various projects in his garage with a success rate of at least 60% of them working every time.
