Robert Loahr
ROBERT LOAHR got his start in the marching arts marching with the Govenaires Drum and Bugle Corps in 2014. He spent another year with the Govies before making his move to the River City Rhythm in 2016, where he aged out of DCI. He then went on to march Minnesota Brass in 2017. He spent the winter seasons of 2015-2018 marching and aging out with the RCR indoor drumline.
After being fully aged out of the marching activities, he was asked to join the staff for the RCR Drum and Bugle Corps. This was the start of his independent level teaching career, which carried onto the indoor activity as a quad tech with RCRi starting in 2019. Rob has been the Battery Coordinator with RCRi since the 2023 season.
He has continued to participate in the marching and performing arts by participating with the Minnesota Vikings Skol Line and marching with MBI, an all-age drum corps. Rob teaches Rosemount High School and Grove Area Percussion. He is looking for another exciting season with RCR filled with opportunities to take the marching arts to the next generation!
