Anders Peterson

Originally from Dassel, Minnesota, ANDERS PETERSON is a dedicated extracurricular and scholastic music educator, having been teaching marching arts and band since 2020. He is a proud alumnus of Luther College, where he earned his B.A. in Music Education and developed a passion for helping young musicians grow.

Anders currently serves as the Junior High Band Director at Waseca Public Schools. In addition to leading the junior high band program, he works as the Assistant Marching Band Director and directs the Junior High Jazz Bands. Beyond his work in the school setting, Anders is the Music Caption Head for River City Rhythm’s indoor winds ensemble and is a member of the visual team for the RCR drum corps.
