Sophia Hakeman

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, SOPHIA HAKEMAN is thrilled to return for her second summer with River City Rhythm. She marched with Phantom Regiment from 2022–2024, coached with RCR in 2025, and is currently performing with UNO Independent for the 2026 winter season. Since 2022, Sophia has coached color guard at Bellevue West High School, where she enjoys building confidence, creativity, and community among her performers.

Outside of guard, Sophia is a senior at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln pursuing a double major in Business Administration and Criminology & Criminal Justice on the pre-law track. She loves traveling, baking, and relaxing with her dog. Sophia is grateful to be part of the RCR community again and is looking forward to an inspiring summer ahead.
