Nicole “TJ” Kern

NICOLE KERN graduated from Irondale HS in 2016, where she participated in Marching Band and Winterguard. She has performed in various ensembles including River City Rhythm Drum and Bugle Corps (‘16-‘17), River City Rhythm Winter Guard (‘20-‘22), and Minnesota Brass SoundSport (‘22).

Nicole has taught at a handful of programs and organizations in Minnesota and Wisconsin. She is currently on staff at River City Rhythm Winter Guards and has been director of colorguard for St. Francis HS Marching Band since 2017.

When not doing things related to the marching arts, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, crafting, and hanging out with her dog! Nicole is ecstatic to be back for a second season with RCR DBC, pick up where we left off last season, and continue growing even more this season!
