Jacob Sauls

JACOB SAULS is from Enterprise, Alabama, and he received his bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Music Composition & Technology from Auburn University in May 2026.

While studying, Jacob performed on both French horn and trumpet in the university’s Symphonic Winds and Jazz Ensemble, as well as marched five seasons on the Auburn University Marching Band’s brass line from 2021-2025, where he served as a trumpet section leader and soloist during his final season. He was also a high brass instructor for a high school local to the Auburn area during summer 2025.

Jacob is a composer for both band and choral ensembles, and is beginning to specialize in composing/arranging for marching band and drum corps. He is very excited to put his passion for brass playing to use with River City Rhythm this summer.

In his free time, Jacob enjoys composing new music, singing, working with technology, and biking.
