Chris Martucci

CHRIS MARTUCCI is a drumline composer and instructor from Papillion, Nebraska. He’s marched with multiple ensembles including the Columbians Drum and Bugle Corps, Crossroads Percussion, the Madison Scouts, and is a multi-year member of River City Rhythm’s Drum Corps and Indoor Drumline. Following his ageout with RCR’s Indoor Drumline for the 2025 winter, he joined the staff team for the following summer and is very excited to back with RCR again for a second year on the road!

Back home in Nebraska, Chris has taught at multiple drumlines in the Omaha area, including Papillion La-Vista South high school and Bellevue East high school, and currently teaches at Elkhorn high school where he writes the drum beats for their indoor drumline as well.

Chris is also a bit of a history buff especially when it comes to the marching arts, so he always has fun drum corps or RCR history to share with his students. On top of that, as a relatively newer person to the writing world, he’s constantly looking for new inspiration everywhere he goes!

Chris is extremely excited to see where the organization goes next, both as an involved alum and instructor.
